Fire crews clear the Brock Road industrial blaze

Crews were called shortly after four. The building was fully involved on arrival and the response went to a second alarm within twenty minutes.

No injuries have been reported. Two neighbouring units were evacuated as a precaution and released before ten.

Brock Road reopened northbound shortly after ten. The fire department has asked people to avoid the immediate area while crews remain on scene for hot spots.

The unit was occupied by a light manufacturer. The company has not yet commented.
